Launch Team for the book! Recruitment online!

First of all, I am sorry for not being able to update the blogs and as always if you follow the author on Twitter, you know exactly why. So now that apology is out of the way, I shall commence this article.

So the news is that the author is forming a launch team for his upcoming book Hope's Tribulation. For those of you who don't know what a launch team is, I'll tell you. A launch team, for book that is, is a group of people gathered by the author of the book for the promotional activities of the specific book. The people help him by completing some tasks assigned to them by the author or his coordinates.

For public view, this is the only platform where you can officially get all the information about the launch team. While the author has contacted many people personally giving them all the necessary information, this is the only place where all of this information is made public. So on that note, I really recommend you to subscribe to the website.Now that we have promoted the website let's start with the discussion:

Procedure:

There is no sure procedure as to how you can join the launch team since it largely depends on his personal judgement of people. Now you need not give a test but you should be an asset to the team.The launch team is grouped as a Discord server where as of now, there are only 2 members, one being the author himself. The server is official but he has tried not to make it completely professional and as an example of that, in the name of the server, instead of 'launch team', he used the term 'launch family' so that he could connect with the people on his team. He is trying to create a friendship among the people. There are some people invited but no response is recorded yet. Tasks:

While the author will assign some individual tasks related to music for videos to musicians or artwork to artists or proofreading to readers etc. There are some common tasks he wishes the people to do in return of little things :

(i) Sharing this blog, his Twitter handles and YouTube content on your own profiles to gain exposure.

(ii) Get people interested in this book but this is optional. He wants not to pressurize anyone.

(iii) Posting book reviews on Day 1 of book launch.

Rewards:

Since the author is a 15-year old boy, he does not possess much capital and so you won't get any premium rewards and this is the word of the author because he does not want to lure you into joining. The things he can give are:

(i) Free electronic copy of the book before the launch

(ii) Acknowledgement on various platforms with his appeal

(iii) Shout out on the thank you video which will come out after the launch week

(iv) Featuring in some of his content creation like podcast or videos, if he makes them.

Also, he won't use any of your works like music or art without giving you credit, so don't feel negative about sharing your work. Joining his launch team is also a great way to increase your own social influence because at various times, you and your work will be promoted by the author himself. Also there is a self-promote channel on the server so you can share your own works and while working mainly for the promotion of Hope;'s Tribulation, you can generate some traffic for your own works too.

And so, it is not just a regular launch team, but a mutual launch 'family'.
